Peterborough, NH—Raynor Dental has announced the addition of J. Scott Jarvela, DMD to the dental care team at its practice in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Dr. Jarvela, known to his patients as “Dr. Scott,” joins the Peterborough team after spending time working at Raynor Dental’s offices in Keene.
Dr. Jarvela, born and raised in nearby New Ipswich, New Hampshire, earned his undergraduate degree in Human Physiology at Boston University and his doctorate from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He says, “It brings me great excitement to share my passion for dentistry with the community I grew up in. It is my goal to make every patient feel at ease when under my care. I can promise that you will never feel rushed or pressured into treatment when sitting in my chair.” As a New Hampshire native, he enjoys hiking Mt. Monadnock, golfing at local courses, and snowboarding down the White Mountains.
