Seeking an experienced DENTAL ASSISTANT who is interested in working in a vibrant community in the southern half of New Hampshire as part of a dynamic, experienced, and fun team of professionals in a supportive environment.
REPORTS TO: Lead Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant will be responsible for general clinic administrative work and maintenance, as well as completing lab work under the direction of the dentist. The Dental Assistant’s primary responsibility is to prepare the examination rooms for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the dentist. They also assist the dentist during their procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment. The Dental Assistant may also be responsible for greeting patients as they arrive, submitting billing details to the insurance company and scheduling the patient’s next appointment before they leave the clinic.
The employee is occasionally going to Walk, Climb, Reach, Balance, Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, or Crawl; the employee is frequently Standing; the employee is regularly Sitting; Use of their hands to finger, handle, or feel items; Reaching with hands and arms; Talking or hearing.
Lifts Weight or Exerts Force
The employee is occasionally needing to lift Up to 25 pounds; the employee is frequently needing to lift Up to 10 pounds. In rare occasions there may be the need to lift and/or assist a patient in the operatory.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision; Distance vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception; Ability to adjust focus.
The employee is occasionally exposed to Fumes or airborne particles; Toxic or caustic chemicals; Risk of electrical shock; Risk of radiation.

Pay: $15.00 – $23.00 per hour; Hourly Rate will be determined by experience
